To manually install Windows Azure SDK 2.3, follow these steps:

  1. Install Visual Studio 2012 or Visual Studio 2013; or install Visual Web Developer 2012 or Visual Web Developer 2013.
  2. Install Local DB prereq of .Net FX Update 4.0.2 or higher from here.
  3. Install Windows Azure Authoring Tools (x64) or Windows Azure Authoring Tools (x86).
  4. Install Windows Azure Emulator (x64) or Windows Azure Emulator (x86).
  5. Install Windows Azure Client Libraries for .NET (x64) or Windows Azure Client Libraries for .NET (x86).
  6. Install Windows Azure Storage Emulator (x86 and x64).
  7. Install Windows Azure Tools for Visual Studio 2012 (x86 and x64) or Windows Azure Tools for Visual Studio 2013 (x86 and x64).
  8. Install Windows Azure LightSwitch Tools for Visual Studio 2013 (x86 and x64).
  9. Install Web Tools Extensions for Visual Studio 2012 (x86 and x64) or Web Tools Extensions for Visual Studio 2013 (x86 and x64); or install Web Tools Extensions for Visual Web Developer 2012 (x86 and x64) or Web Tools Extensions for Visual Web Developer 2013 (x86 and x64).
